Rambo...Mommy's Personal BodyGuard...Literally. LOL

Well seems this Mommy can't go anywhere without telling her Bodyguard first. Meet Rambo, our 10 month old Cane Corso Puppy. He already has the ability of being the PERFECT Guard Dog. He doesn't like solicitors and doesn't like strangers. If he feels Mommy is being threaten or is getting agitated, he gets upset and all he wants to do is calm Mommy down and also protect her.
For example, yesterday we had a solicitor that just wouldn't go away. Well, Rambo put his body in between Mommy and the screen door and warned the Solicitor he wasn't welcome. LOL Later on that evening the solicitor walked by the house and Rambo went off on him. He was next to his Mommy and he was warning the guy he wasn't welcome to even walk by. LOL
And now this evening Mommy went out to the movie with her babygirl and Rambo was whimpering for his Mommy. As soon as I got home, he wouldn't let me out of his sight and he walked me around the house.
I feel terrible for my Hubby since Rambo is supposed to be his Puppy, but it seems Rambo loves his Mommy more. =)

Book 107 "Bullet" by Laurell K. Hamilton

Okay, it is actually going on 2 am and yes, I'm still up. I had a hard time putting down "Bullet" by Laurel K. Hamilton. Laurel, you sure know how to make a reader sit on the edge of her sit. =) I think I fell even more in love with the characters in this book. I'm so HAPPY on what happened to a certain someone because he literally was wrecking Anita's life and everyone else's. Thank you! I'm also proud of Nathaniel and Damien in this book. I'm also shocked with Richard. Wow!! I never expected that from him in this book, but thank you again for making this book one of my FAVES now. I love it!!! From the very beginning to the very end, you had me wondering on what would happen next. You definitely nailed it on this book. I can't wait for your next book to come out and I know it will be a year from now, but it's so worth the wait. This is the description from the book if anyone is interested in reading it (Although I recommend you start with Book 1 first since this is Book 19): Anita Blake is back in St. Louis and trying to live a normal life-as normal as possible for someone who is a legal vampire executioner and a U. S. Marshal. There are lovers, friends and their children, school programs to attend. In the midst of all the ordinary happiness a vampire from Anita's past reaches out. She was supposed to be dead, killed in an explosion, but the Mother of All Darkness is the first vampire, their dark creator. It's hard to kill a god. This dark goddess has reached out to her here-in St. Louis, home of everyone Anita loves most. The Mother of All Darkness has decided she has to act now or never, to control Anita, and all the vampires in America. The Mother of All Darkness believes that the triumvirate created by master vampire Jean-Claude with Anita and the werewolf Richard Zeeman has enough power for her to regain a body and to immigrate to the New World. But the body she wants to possess is already taken. Anita is about to learn a whole new meaning to sharing her body, one that has nothing to do with the bedroom. And if the Mother of All Darkness can't succeed in taking over Anita's body for herself, she means to see that no one else has the use of it, ever again. Even Belle Morte, not always a friend to Anita, has sent word: "Run if you can..."
Thank you again, Laurell for such an amazing book! I definitely make this number 2 of my faves from this series.
Now off to bed ago, since it's well past my bedtime. =)
XOXO,

Book 106 "Spirit Bound" by Richelle Mead

I did it!! I finished "Spirit Bound" and now I can officially move onto "Bullet. YAY!! Now I can get my Anita Blake fix. Well, onto "Spirit Bound" by Richelle Mead first though. I was introduced to this series last summer and fell in love with the characters in the series. Rose, Dimitri and Adrian, of course are my favorite characters. The last book, had Rose off in Siberia tracking down Dimitri to kill him since he became Strigoi. She failed though in killing him. Now he is hunting her down. She arrived back home to the Academy and instead is giving Adrian a chance at love. In this book, it picks up at Rose receiving a note from Dimitri on him wanting to find her to finish what they started. Rose is of course still madly in love with Dimitri and she will do anything to find a cure for him and change him back to the Instructor and Lover she once knew. Lissa, her bestfriend is wanting to help her out and so our her other friends. I won't go into what happens though because I will ruin it for anyone who is reading this book or someone who hasn't even read the series and wants to read it. I will say this...the book takes a drastic twist at the middle and end of the book and believe me I as in SHOCK. I'm kind of mad right now. GRRR!! I have to wait until December for the next book to come out. If your interested on this book, I definitely recommend it...but if you haven't read the first 4 books, you need to start from the beginning first. Here's the excerpt from the back of the book from Richelle Mead's Website, I thought I share for anyone who wants to read the book: Dimitri gave Rose the ultimate choice. But she chose wrong… After a long and heartbreaking journey to Dimitri’s birthplace in Siberia, Rose Hathaway has finally returned to St. Vladimir’s—and to her best friend, Lissa. It is nearly graduation, and the girls can’t wait for their real lives beyond the Academy’s iron gates to begin. But Rose’s heart still aches for Dimitri, and he's out there, somewhere. She failed to kill him when she had the chance. And now her worst fears are about to come true. Dimitri has tasted her blood, and she knows in her heart that he is hunting her. And if Rose won't join him, he won't rest until he's silenced her...forever
I give this book 5 STARS of course, just like I did "Blood Promise". Blood Promise is still my fave book out of the series still. I look forward to "Last Sacrifice" when it comes out the end of this year. I also look forward to what Richelle Mead is going to do in 2012. She is going to continue on, but not with Rose after "Last Sacrifice". I'm so excited!
Onto relaxing for a bit and see how long I can off starting "Bullet" which I just got in the mail yesterday. I can't wait to start reading it, but I need a little break. =)
XOXO,
FranJessca

"BULLET" How I've been looking forward to your arrival!!

It came in the mail today and I haven't been that excited for a book in awhile.
"Bullet" by Laurel K. Hamilton. The 19th book to her Anita Blake Series. I'm so wanting to put down the current book I'm reading to read this book because I know once I start reading it I won't want to put it down.
I've been reading this series since the end of last year when I finally could start reading it.
Thank you, Laurell K. Hamilton for writing this series. This series has actually gone to the top of my list of faves now. I prefer this series over Twilight and also Black Dagger Brotherhood.
I love the characters in the series and I really want to know what happens next to Anita. The last book "Flirt", had me crying. I felt terrible for Anita. I'm so looking forward to reading this book once I'm done reading "Spirit Bound".
Thank you again, Laurell K. Hamilton and I know you are writing the next book to the series and us readers love you for it. =) Here's hoping though, your getting time to yourself and you family though. I know how much you put into "Bullet" to make it come out. We also thank you for giving us double fixes of Anita this year. =)
XOXO,
FranJessca
