Okay...so I finished another book this month. =)
I ended up re-reading "Twilight" by Stepanie Meyer. That book will always be ONE of my Favorites. I've lost count how many times I've read it since October of 2008 when I bought it. I remember when I bought it. It was in the Norfolk Airport when I was traveling back to Florida after I photographed a Wedding. Let's just say that 2 hour flight...I had already read half the book and by that evening at home, I finished it and had to buy the 2nd book to the Series. =) I was hooked to Twilight and still am. I can't wait until the 2nd movie comes out November 20th. I will be buying my tickets ahead of time, just like I did Twilight. =) I even have my daughter liking Twilight...although, she's Team Jacob and I'm Team Edward.
So what's my next book I'm reading...well of course..."New Moon". I have to read the book again before the movie comes out. =)
Hope everyone is having a Great Week.

Book 36 is Done!
Yes...I finished another book this weekend. I love books that always have you hooked and you never want to put down. This last book I just finished "Blue Moon" by Alyson Noel, left me hanging. I have to wait until the next book comes out in November. I'm so glad it's not too far away.
This book had a very SAD ending and I definitely hope the next one turns out happy. This book had nothing to do with Vampires...but Immortals. I love books like this.
So sorry this is going to be a short blog...but it's time to cook dinner and get ready to have movie night with my family. Back to work tomorrow night. =)
Hope everyone had an amazing weekend and has a GREAT week!

GET WELL SOON!!!!
I'm a Diehard Florida Gator Fan...Always Have and Always Will be. =)
When I heard that about 36 of the football players are sick...of course I'm going to wish them a GET WELL SOON! I hope they all feel better soon.
Having the Flu is not fun. I definitely know since I suffered it last year and was out sick for a week from work. I was useless.
I'm surprised though that most of the players still played tonight against Kentucky...especially Tim Tebow.
During the 3rd quarter, Tim Tebow got hurt and of course being the fan I am...I flipped out. Poor Tebow!! Then to find out he's suffering with a illness. Take care of yourself, Tim Tebow and I hope you feel better soon!! You are in my thoughts and prayers!
I'm so glad that the Gators have a By-week next weekend and they can get some well deserved rest and get over this illness they all have.
GET WELL SOON, GATORS!!!!
Even when their ill, they still can WHOOP BUTT!! =)
I'm so PROUD to be a GATOR Fan!!!
Much Love from your BIGGEST FANS,
Phillip (newbie fan, thanks to wife converting him...lol), FranJessca (diehard fan since 8 years old) & Alexia Renee (a 4 year old Princess who loves her Gators...especially Tebow)
Book 35...Done. =)
Well, I was going to take a needed break from reading...but unfortunately that didn't happen. After reading the back cover of the next book I just finished, I had a hard time keeping my promise. =)
I ended up reading "Evermore" by Alyson Noel. I saw the book at Barnes and Noble and couldn't wait to read it. Finally a story that didn't involve Vampires...but instead Immortals. Hence, it being apart of "The Immortal Series". It's definitely different and I have to say again that it was another book I had a hard time putting down.
I'm looking forward to reading the next book "Blue Moon". The 3rd book comes out on November 17th, 2009. 3 days before "New Moon" comes out to the theaters. Let's just say that week of November is going to be AMAZING. I have two things to look forward to. =)
Hope everyone is having an GREAT weekend. I'm relaxing with my family, trying to shake off this annoying headache that won't go away. I'm glad to have a weekend to rest of my family and catch up some much needed rest.

Book 34...Done!
Well, I'm officially done with the Blue Blood Series until October 6th, when the fourth book comes out. It took me only two days to read the books. I read "Masquerade" yesterday and got done with "Revelations" this evening. They were short compared to my others. They tell a different story on Vampires...on how they came to be and such. I was a little worried about reading these books at first since they were different from the other Vampire books I've read...because they had a different twist to them...which I ended up LOVING! I'm glad I found these books at Barnes and Noble and chose to read them. I am a little upset though that my favorite girl character didn't end up with my favorite guy character. =( Maybe the author has twists and turns in the upcoming books that will get together somehow without having a major crisis on their hands. I'm also wanting to learn more about Allegra, the Mom of Schulyer. She has a very important part of the series that I really want to know about. I can't wait until the fourth book comes out in less than two weeks. I already have it saved in my wishlist on Barnes and Noble and I'll be able to pick it up at the store...or maybe I'll pre-order it like I did "Blood Promise". I'll wait to see.
Today I got to read the first chapter to "Tempted"...the next book to the House of Night Series. Wow!! I'm so ready for that book to be out on October 27th.
I'm taking a needed break from reading for now. My goal for next month will mostly like me to get to 40 books. I'm at 34...I think I can do it...as long as my work schedule and every thing else doesn't get too crazy.

I'm back and Yes I finished book 33
"Hi I'm FranJessca, and I have a Reading Addiction" LOL
I finished two books in one day, so what's my excuse? I have time on my hands. Also, the last two books have been only 300 pages each. I'm used to reading books that are 500-600 pages long. My next book will only be about 280 something pages so that will be finished by tomorrow. As long as I have time to read it...which I most likely will. =)
"Masquerade" by Melissa De La Cruz...is the 2nd installment to the Blue Bloods Series. It left me hanging so I'm having a hard time not picking up the 3rd book right now. I already read the 1st chapter since it was sneak preview at the end of the 2nd book.
Seriously, my husband is already saying I've read too many books in the last few months, but he has no idea what's in store. Barnes and Noble knows me so well, they have suggested books to me and authors I might like. I love Barnes & Noble though and I refuse to buy used books. I prefer new ones and I love keeping them. There's never going to be a moment that I get rid of books. I'm going to buy a Book case as soon as I can so I shelve all my books I've read and need to read. Hopefully, I won't see Barnes and Noble for the next month though. =)
On to my next book, tomorrow..."Revelations" by Melissa De La Cruz.
Book 32....Yeah it's done. =)
I finished a book in one day. I had plenty of time to read it though since I had a 4 hour lunch today, which meant IHOP I went. Then after I ate I set in my truck near the ocean and read my book. I love being near the ocean. =)
What did I read that lasted only a day? "Blue Bloods" by Melissa De La Cruz...Yes, another Vampire Series. The series caught my attention once I read the back cover to Blue Bloods. Every year the author has brought a book out. The 4th book comes out in two weeks. I'm hoping to have the next two books done in a few days or at the longest a week.
I start working on the watch floor, but that won't stop me from my goal: 50 books by the end of this year and I'm over half way done. Now to finish the Blue Blood Series and move on to something else. I'll only have to wait 2 weeks for the 4th book to come out to the Series, so that's WONDERFUL.
Maybe I'll re-read "New Moon" after this series to brush up on it before the movie comes out on November 20th. I cannot wait until that MOVIE comes out!! =)
Hope everyone is having an Amazing Wednesday.
Since I forgot to say it yesterday....HAPPY AUTUMN EVERYONE!

Book 31 is done. =)
Yes, I just finished book 31 which was the last of the Lords of the Underworld series for now...."The Darkest Whisper" by Gena Showalter. Now I have to wait until next year for the next book to come out. I can't wait!! I love this series. "The Darkest Whisper" was about Sabin, the Keeper of Doubt and Gwendolyn. In this book though, you find out more about Aeron, Paris, and finally Gideon. I love when Gena Showalter, the author, goes into other characters. It helps lead to what the other books will be like. There's also another twist to this book "The Darkest Whisper" that threw me off. You find something out that is REALLY interesting. I won't ruin it though.
This book is definitely my FAVE of the series now...and then "The Darkest Kiss" is my 2nd fave.
I can't wait to see what Gena Showalter brings out in the next books. She'll go into the story of Aeron and then Gideon. =)
What's in store now for my Reading list? Well, I'm going back to Vampires for a bit. I'm checking out Melissa De La Cruz's books. She writes mostly for teens, but that doesn't stop me from reading them. One of her series...the Blue Bloods, had me intrigued. I can't wait to read them.
The next book I'm waiting for though, is "Tempted" by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast from the House of Night Series. I can't wait until this book comes out the end of October. This Series is definitely my fave next to the Black Dagger Brotherhood and Twilight Series.
For now though, I'm back to reading until my shows come on TV. =)

"The Doctors" that have me for the next Months...Ugh!
The life of me for the next couple of months or maybe longer is about to get HECTIC. Here's the MAIN Reasons why I've put several things on hold until further notice.
I'm being seen by several doctors.
Here's the point to all of this though...it's time to take CARE OF ME!
I have less than two years until I'm out of the Navy and of course I want the Navy to fix me.
I'm healthy as far as blood pressure and blood work...having no signs of diabetes and no signs of bad cholesterol.
BUT...I have several other issues that the Navy FINALLY figured out. First off, I have been off and on being Anemic. The Navy has been keeping eye on me and I've have to take iron pills. It's genetic since my Mom is anemic.
I have PFS in both my knees..which my knee pops out of place. I believe I have osteoarthritis in my right knee so the Navy is checking it out. Knee surgeries are well-known in my family. Ugh!
I have a benign tumor in my right femur that they found back in 2002, but misdiagnosed. They are trying to figure out the best way to maybe remove it or deal with the pain that it causes. They say it shouldn't cause pain...but what would they know, it's not in their leg.
I went in for my normal OB/GYN checkup the beginning of this year and found I have two lumps in my left breast. Their not attached to the breast wall, but they still want to check to make sure. I'm going through a Mammogram next week. =( They most likely will remove them since studies have shown that people who have cysts could later on develop breast cancer. I'm not worried just yet...I'll wait until the Mammogram results come back.
I also have other medical issues I'm taking care of too.
The Doctor's at the Hospitals are going to know me very well in the next few months, but like I said, it's time to take care of me. I've been neglecting everything for awhile. =( I always put other people first or other things first that I thought were more important. My family knows and understands and actually pushed me to do this.
I'm going through a MRI tomorrow, a Mammagram next week and in two weeks a Bone Scan. Anymore tests, the Navy wants to do, they'll probably do in the next few months.
So that's the latest Medical endeavors I have to do. Everyone now knows, what my life is going to entail for the next few months. =(
I'll keep everyone posted on what the doctors say. I probably get a 2nd opinion on my leg since I was told by a Civilian doctor last year I could get the tumor removed from my femur. We'll see though. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I knew I forgot about something today.....& NEWS
For some reason...I was confused today. I was forgetting about something today and I couldn't figure out what it is. Something that changed my life forever and was very IMPORTANT. Something I never thought I could conquer and something my parents, the rest of my family and even my friends were proud of me doing.
I graduated Navy Bootcamp 8 years ago today. Wow!! 8 years ago today I was at my Bootcamp Graduation. 8 years ago today, my Mom was in tears, my father and brother were ecstatic and I was in my dress white uniform. =) Wow!! Is my only reaction to that. Everyday I pinch myself, to realize how much in the 8 years I've changed. I never expected to stay in after my first enlistment. Actually, I never thought to even make it through Bootcamp. LOL My personality 8 years ago was TOTALLY different from today. Today, I'm a hardcore Sailor, who loves doing the "Old Navy" way. =) I'm on shore duty, but I still think of it as "SEA". If your not in regs, if your backtalking, or even just being lazy and not doing your job...ha...forewarning, I'm your worst nightmare. Just ask my previous co-workers. I'm not meant to be your bestfriend...I'm meant to be your co-worker. A co-worker who doesn't like when Sailors forget their in the Navy. I have junior Sailors now that are my command and I'm wondering why they didn't go to sea first. They ask all kinds of questions about being on ship. What it's like, what you do and what it's like to leave your family behind? I've actually had the privilege of never missing any of my daughter's milestones. I was there when she first talked, walked and got into things she wasn't supposed to. =) I did though spend the first two years in the Navy always underway. In 2003, I spent 10 weeks in the states. I had no family and responsibility at the time though. I enjoyed being underway. I got to travel to so many different countries and explore so many cultures. I even became close friends with Sicilians and Greeks. I would love to go back to Crete, Slovenia, Sicily and Gibraltar and one day I will go back there and next time I will be a "Civilian". =) My daughter will even get to enjoy it.
I come from a Navy family. Both my Grandfathers served in the Navy, and my Great Uncle served 30 years in the Navy. All 3 of them were World War II Vets. I look up to them. My Great Uncle to this day, is very proud of me. My Grandfather's last wish before he passed away was to see me in my Dress Blue Uniform and I made it come true for him. It was hard for me to see him the way he was at the time, but I would do it all over again for him. I loved him very much and miss him dearly everyday.
Now...here's the question that everyone has asked me. Why won't I stay in, if people are proud of me for going into the Navy?
Because it's time to focus on my family and focus more on my goals I've wanted to achieve in the pass years. I've achieved alot, don't get me wrong, but I'm always striving for more. My biggest goal now for myself is to get my Master's Degree. I loved school when I was growing up and I miss it. I can't wait to go back fulltime. In fact I'll be starting back to school really soon. I'm meeting with Navy College as soon as I have a free day off and I'm going to see which schools are out there and which one is best for me to get my Associate's and Bachelor's before I get out in 22 1/2 months. Yes, I'm counting. LOL Actually, it's shorter than that, since I'll be trying for the early out because I'll be attending school full-time once I get out of the Navy.
The best part of this is my husband is even striving for his degree. He'll be starting school most likely next month using the new MGIB. I think he's beyond nervous to start school again, but he has a wife who LOVES school and wants him to succeed. I'll be there for him every step of the way, helping him with anything he needs help with. = ) I'm so proud of him right now. I'll have to explain in an entire blog on him, on how proud I am of him. I love him more everyday.
So here's the one question that everyone asks me...do I regret joining the Navy...No I don't. It was the BEST decision I ever made and I would do it all over again. I graduated high school, May of 2001 and went into the Navy July of 2001.
So what have I achieved in the last 8 years...let's see...I've made rank really quickly that even my Great Uncle is still amazed. I've been to several commands, met a lot of people, traveled to different countries, went to several schools that have helped me, worked with both sides of my job (finally... =) ....), have an amazing and loving husband, have a beautiful 4 year old daughter who is the love of my life, 4 handsome stepsons, a beautiful house and two vehicles that I LOVE and much more...Let me not forget my LOVE for Photography and CRAFTS.
What's in the store for the next 8 years? Let's see...maybe making Alexia a Big Sister next year...(Hubby and I have finally decided it's time and she wants a little sister...not a little brother) Don't ask me why she doesn't want a little brother, she finds them annoying and we really don't why. Maybe there's boys at her school who drive her crazy. LOL I don't why she would wished to have a little sister...maybe to have Daddy worry even more. =) He already has his shotgun ready. LOL This is from Daddy..."Alexia is not allowed to date until she's 40 and she's not ever getting married and having kids." LOL He is serious too.
(Oh...and here's a hint to everyone, if my next child is a girl...I will not be trying for a 3rd...LOL I don't want Hubby being stressed. He already worries enough. If I have a boy next, then I'll try for a 3rd baby).
Other things in the next 8 years...I'll have all my Degrees, have a more successful Photography Business (hubby wants to have a studio), travel to even more countries, live in Florida, and much more, I can't even think of right now. Oh...and not let me forget, make 6 figures, which why hubby is all for me getting out of the Navy. LOL He knows how much I can make out in the civilian sector.
If you don't know my work background...I'm a COMPUTER GEEK and proud of it. Now, though I'm working on the Tech Control side and seeing how our Communication is actually set up in the Navy.
I enjoy my WORK Field. I love Technology because it's always changing. You will always need an IT because computers will alway be here, taking over.
I could go on and on about how the Navy has changed me and why I'm glad someone reminded me what today was. Thanks Mom! LOL My Mother will never forget days that made her cry. She knocked off my dress white cover 8 years ago today, trying to get a hold of me in the crowd of people trying to get their families. Let's just say I couldn't breathe. LOL She was VERY Proud of me and still is...and she's even more ecstatic to see me get out in two years.
She did not like that I was in Bootcamp when 9/11 happened. She wished she could go back in time and not sign for me to get in..but really it didn't matter, I would've joined at 18 no matter what. She knew it was my choice and that is why she signed.
Now for the rest of my time in the Navy...what will I accomplish now. You'll just have to wait and see. Believe me I already have my goals set and everytime I set goals, I conquer them. I can't wait!!!
I'm looking foward to what LIFE has in store for me NEXT!! =)

Back AGAIN...Book 30...Complete!
Well I made it to my goal this month. To get my 30th book done. Now let's see if I can get at least two more books done before the end of this month. =) I think I can do it, as long as I'm not too busy.
"The Darkest Pleasure" by Gena Showalter is what I just finished and again, I had a hard time putting down this book. This book is mostly about Reyes, the Keeper of Pain and Danika. The book also goes into detail about other characters and I learned more about the Keeper of Doubt, Sabin who I really didn't know about. The book also announces another character who comes into play, which is really interesting. I love it!!
So now on to "The Darkest Whisper" by Gena Showalter. This will be the last LOTW book I read until the next one comes out in January 2010.
Gena Showalter just finished writing "Unraveled" the sequel to "Interwined" that I just read last Sunday. The book now has to go through a process. She wrote the rought draft of it and the book is supposed to be released next year around this time. That's a long time for me...but this year is going by quickly, so I think I can handle waiting for "Unraveled" to come out. =) Again, Gena Showalter an amazing author. She writes stories really QUICKLY. I can't wait to read her other sagas she has. I read a sneak preview of the Vampire's Bride in the back of "The Darkest Pleasure" and really want to read that series of books now. =)
So for now I'm taking a break from reading and I'll pick up my next book this evening. If I can last that long. I love reading books and have a hard time taking a break from one. My Husband thinks I'm silly right now, but he has no idea. I've always been a bookworm. I used to rollerblade and read a book at the same time. =) My Mom of course always worried about me.
Hope everyone has an amazing weekend! Maybe I'll finish my 31st book before the weekend ends...but really I think I need to take breaks from reading some times. We'll see though. =)

Book 29....DONE
Uh, oh...I'm back!!! LOL
I finished the 29th book just a few minutes ago and thought I blog how it was and why it only took me two days to finish...actually less than that. It was a DELICIOUS, AMAZING, CRAZY Book. I loved all of it. "The Darkest Kiss" by Gena Showalter, was a book I definitely couldn't put down. My husband of course was wondering why I was always smiling while I read the book. If only he knew. If I read a excerpt to him, who knows what he would do...maybe act it out. LOL
The main characters, Lucien and Anya...WOW! Those two are perfect together, is all I'm going to say. Anya helped Lucien in so many ways and vice versa.
I won't go into more details in the book because I don't want to ruin it for someone whose reading it or wants to read it. All I can say is again, Gena Showalter, you definitely are an amazing Author. I can't wait to start reading "The Darkest Pleasure" next.

Hey VOLS Fans...REVENGE is going to be SWEET...LOL
I just had to share this off of ESPN...REVENGE is SWEET.
Just ask the Georgia Bulldogs about last year's game on what Urban Meyer did to them. LOL
Don't talk crap about the GATORS when it's your first year as the HEAD Coach to your team and then attack Urban Meyer, an amazing college football coach and think your going to get away with it.
I LOVE COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!!!
GO GATORS!!!

Book 28....Complete =)
"Intertwined" by Gena Showalter....A book I usually wouldn't of read, but for some reason when I saw it was written by Gena Showalter. I had to read it. =) Well, I couldn't put this book down. It took me a little bit to read it since I had other things to take care of before I read the book. Today though, I took the book with me while we drove to Centre Cross, Virginia to meet the Cane Corso Puppies. We get to pick one up next month. =)
"Intertwined" was an INTERESTING book. I love Gena Showalter's writing style. She comes up with the best books and what I've noticed, she writes several books at the same time. She's ABSOLUTELY Amazing! If I had the choice to meet one of the authors of the books I've been reading since May, I actually would choose her over Stephanie Meyer, J.R. Ward, L.J. Smith and Anne Rice. I would want to know how she comes up with all these books at the same time. She's an AMAZING Writer. She is actually inspiring me to write a book of my own. I've been fascinated with writing since I was little. I have several stories right now that I've been working on, just not ready to share. Hubby wants me to write a book because he knows vivid an imagination I can have once I told him the stories I was thinking about writing.
I'm not going to go into detail what "Intertwined" is about. I don't want to ruin the book for anyone out there that is reading it or wants to read it. The book is for Teens, but I didn't care. Gena Showalter wrote it and of course my two fave authors read it...P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast, they wrote the House of Night Series. =) I couldn't just not read "Intertwined".
It's a different kind of book of what I'm used to reading and I have to say I love the characters in the book, especially Riley. =)
So what's up next to read. Well, I read the first book to the Lords of the Underworld Series back in July, but put the series on hold once I started reading J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood Series. Now I need to finish LOTW. I'm going to start reading the 2nd book to it..."The Darkest Kiss". Yes, I've already started reading it today and yes, I did finished "Intertwined" today. Do I ever relax from reading one book to the next? No, I don't. LOL My mind is always wanting more books to read. If I had it my way I would be reading 3 books at the same time, like I used to when I was younger, but my family won't let me do that. I do need to spend some time my husband, my daughter, my work, etc.
I'm looking foward to the next book to "Intertwined" and once I get a release date to the 2nd book I'll be marking my calendar so I can buy it from Barnes & Noble. I follow Gena Showalter's Blog to know when the books come out. I can't wait!!! I'm also looking to reading her other Saga of books she's wrote.
It's back to reading for me...moving on to Book 29. Hopefully I'll finish it by the end of this book at the lastest...if not I'll be done with it this weekend coming.

Alexia's Halloween Costume
CAME IN YESTERDAY!!! She's all excited to wear it for Halloween.
It's time for Photos to be taken in it before Halloween...so Mommy can plaster the photos everywhere on the walls of our house and send them out to Family and Friends. Also, to post them on Myspace, Facebook, etc. =)
This year, she chose the costume and believe me....She looks absolutely gorgeous in her Costume.
Mommy is even going to make her a 2nd costume. =)
Look forward to pictures soon of her in the costume. Mommy can't wait!!!
"Lover Avenged" by J.R. Ward
My last book I just read...is the last to the series I have been reading for over two months now. (I was slacking when I was on vacation). The Black Dagger Brotherhood Series, which I have to say had me always on the edge of my seat and having a hard time putting the books down. The last book..."Lover Avenged" was amazing. I believe it's now taken the #1 spot of my fave books from the series. My first fave was "Dark Lover". I loved the characters even more in "Lover Avenged". I felt awful for Wrath. =( I cried on certain parts in the book. Then there was Rehvenge and Ehlena. This couple definitely was my favorite, next to Wrath and Beth. Rehvenge has always been one of my favorite characters. For some reason I always like the bad boys. LOL This book finally went in detail on how Rehvenge was brought up and such. I felt terrible for him and his sister Bella. The book left hanging off clues for the next book. "Lover Mine" will be brought out next year, which I'm looking forward to it. It will be the story of John Matthew and Xhex. I can't wait!! I loved this series. I think I liked even more than the Twilight Series.
Now for my next books I'll be reading. All of them will be written by Gena Showalter. The first book I'm going to read is "Intertwined", which is the newest book from her. I can't wait. Then I'll finish off the Lords of the Underworld Series by the same author. Yes...it's time to catch up from when I was on vacation. My Goal is still set for 50 by the end of this year. Next year I will have a higher goal.

Book 27....Done =)
Book 27 is complete. =)
I finished reading "Lover Avenged" by J.R. Ward this evening. It took me awhile to finish the book thanks to me being exhausted from work this past week...but today I made time to finish it. I'll go into more discussion on how I felt about the book tomorrow. Heading to bed now. Going to start reading one of Gena Showalter's books next. My goal is to have my 30th book done by this month...We'll see though. I have a lot going on right now.
Night Everyone!

The Past Halloweens with Alexia Renee
I promised to share the last costumes that Alexia wore for her past Halloweens. So here they are. =)
Above: Alexia as a "Calf" She was 3 1/2 months old. We took her trick her treating downtown to Portsmouth where the shops were giving away candy. We went with a close friend of mine, Shari.
Above: Alexia, 15 1/2 months old as a Flower Fairy. We went trick or treating around the neighborhood. Tatiana, a friend of ours went with us.
Above: Alexia, 2 years old, as a Lady Bug. Mommy took Professional Photos of her at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens and she learned how to pose at this age. =) We went trick or treating around the neighborhood and also went to Hunt Club Farm for Halloween festivities too.
Above: Alexia, 3 years old, first Halloween Costume as a Angel Fairy. These photos were took at a Park that a Great view of the sun setting. We took Alexia trick or treating around the same neighborhood Mommy grew up in. It was deju vu for this Mommy since she remembered the days when she went trick or treating there too.
Happy Birthday to Me!!! =)
Today is my 26th Birthday. 26 years ago today I was being born in Baltimore, Maryland to my Wonderful Parents, Ella & Robert. At exactly 8:05 am in the morning was the exact time I was born and of course, my Mom called me at 8:05 am her time which was 9:05 my time since she lives in the Central Time Zone. I know my Mom too well because every year she calls me at the same time. My Dad of course let me sleep in a little longer. He called me at 9:10 my time. LOL Thanks Mom and Dad for the Happy Birthdays!
My Mom tells me my birth story every year. She likes to remind me, it seems. =) I was born originally on Labor Day of '83...so to me that's my actual birthdate. My Mom walked at a fair the day before I was born and then she kept having labor pains before her water broke. My Dad of course was getting perturbed because he kept taking my Mom to the hospital the night of the 4th and the early morning of the 5th and the doctors kept saying not yet. Well of course my Mom's water broke after awhile on the 5th in the morning at the doorstep of where they lived at the time. She made my Dad drive her back and when she got to the hospital they admitted her and checked to see if she could get a epidural...but unfortunately I didn't let her. =) She was already way too far dilated. I wanted out I guess. I was 8 days early. My original due date was September 13th...but of course I wanted to be born on Labor Day. My Mom had me at 8:05 on Labor Day and after she had me naturally, she wanted to run a marathon. The Doctors of course said no. My Parents didn't know the sex of me until that day. My Dad thought I was going to be boy...but Mom knew in her heart I was a girl. She made my name up the day I was born...."Franjessca"....but actually it's supposed to be "Fran Jessca". That's a story for another day though why my Mom chose to spell it that way she did.
What's the best thing so far this morning....my beautiful little girl and loving husband sang me "Happy Birthday" and now my Hubby is cooking Breakfast.
Going to spend the day with my family and later on this evening, my hubby is taking me out for dinner and a movie. =)
Now my daughter keeps reminding me to start my Birthday. Guess she thinks I'm going to have a Birthday party. I have to keep reminding her I'm too old to have one. LOL. Although, in 4 years I will be having a PARTY for my 30th. =)
In 2011, I plan on either making a trip to Hawaii...or maybe surprising my Mom...since that's the year, my birthday falls on Labor Day again. (I'll be out of the Navy during that time)
So Happy Birthday to me today!! Another a year older...

Alexia's Halloween Costume...Ordered
Alexia picked out her own costume this year. She went with the Genie Barbie Costume.
She doesn't know I already ordered it for her. It should arrive sometime next week. Mommy can't wait to take photos of her wearing her Halloween costume. =)
Now Mommy & Daddy have to decide what their going to be. Last year I was a Sexy Bumblebee. =) This year I'm going with something scary, but still sexy. It has to do with something with Vampires since that's all I've been reading about lately. I can't wait for Halloween next month. I know Alexia is going to be ecstatic about trick or treating in her costume. She loves getting lots of candy. =)
I'll post a blog of Alexia's past Halloween costumes as soon as I can.

Done with the 26th Book
FINALLY...I'm done reading "Lover Enshrined" by J.R. Ward. It took me forever it seemed because first off I put the book on hold while I read another book and 2nd because of my work schedule. Everyday when I came home from work I was exhausted and I didn't get a chance to read the book during lunch break. The book was about Phury, a brother who has had issues for awhile and turned to drugs to help and Cormia, a Chosen, who learned somethings about herself in this book. She also helped Phury at the end with is issues. I really don't want to go into more details since I don't want to spoil the book to anyone who hasn't read it yet. Their were parts in there that surprised me.
Now it's onto "Lover Avenged" by J.R. Ward. The last Black Dagger Brotherhood series book until 2010 when J.R. Ward brings out the next one "Lover Mine".
I'm looking to reading "Lover Avenged". When I went to pick the book up at Barnes and Noble, even the person, who worked there, said I was going to really enjoy it. =)
I can't wait!!!

My Early Birthday GIFT to myself :)
Okay, last year my husband surprised me with my very own Shootsac Bag for my birthday. I was so HAPPY! He also got me a cover with it. I was proud to wear the bag everywhere I went with my camera gear inside. I always got compliments about my Shootsac Bag. =)
I ended up getting a new cover around Spring time for my Bag and have had the new one on since it came in the Mail. I was going to switched back to my one this Autumn, which is around the corner. Yikes!
Well, today, I checked my email and found a discount code to get a regular priced shootsac cover and get a 2nd one free for my birthday. Oh HECK YEAH!!! Thanks Jessica Claire! =)
So needless to say I jumped on Shootsac.com and ordered two bags...well actually ordered one and got one free. They arrive in 3 days. I can't wait. That makes a total of 4 now. Can you say...ADDICTED! Now I'll have one for different outfits. =) I can't wait!!!
Thanks again Jessica Claire...I can definitely say every year I will be purchasing a new cover or maybe 3. LOL I'm TOO ADDICTED! I'm even thinking about getting the messenger bag. =)
Barnes & Noble your the BEST!
I have to give it to Barnes and Noble. I love that STORE!! I just picked up "Lover Avenged" today. I had to go to a different Barnes and Noble though because the one I usually go to, didn't have it. :( It's all GOOD though. I got the book and once I finally done "Lover Enshrined", I'll be able to read the next book of the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series. I also picked up two other books. One being a new series that I thought would be good to get into. We'll see though. I need to finish the series I'm on and also finish Lords of the Underworld series.
So here's to one of my FAVE stores...Barnes & Noble. They definitely know me by heart and they even know my daughter. :)
Can't wait to READ my books!!
