Proud Parent of a Centerville Student of the Month for November
I had the BIGGEST surprise today from opening my little girl's bookbag and going through her SOS folder from her Kindergarten Teacher. I found a NOTE stating that Alexia was picked to be the Student of the Month for her Class for the month of November. I'M SO PROUD OF MY LITTLE GIRL. I couldn't wait to fill out the form for the teacher of Alexia's favorite things and such. She is one excited little girl too. I called my husband and let him know the good news since he's at work and also Alexia's Grandma (my Mom). Both of them are REALLY PROUD of her. We can't wait to post the sign that states she's Student of the Month in front of our house. We also can't wait to go to the little ceremony in 2 weeks that honors the Students of the Month. We are some REALLY ECSTATIC parents right now. =)
We love you, Alexia Renee!!!
Our Amazing Little Girl...who is Student of the Month for November. =)

Once Upon a Time...There lived "Snow White"
It was time to take photos of Alexia in her Halloween Costume this year. She wanted to be "Snow White". Isn't she Beautiful? This is a sneak peak of the photos I took of her today. We took them in City View Park in Virginia Beach. Although, we were getting bothered by the annoying mosquitoes at the park, we still got some GREAT photos.
Alexia can't wait to go trick-or-treating this upcoming Sunday. Her bag is ready to receive lots of Candy. =)

My Baby Girl is going on her FIRST ever Field Trip
Tomorrow is my Baby Girl's first field trip and she's going to the Pumpkin Patch. Unfortunately, Mommy will not be able to attend since I have a couple of doctor appointments tomorrow. Boo!!!
I made a checklist for my little girl and myself to prepare her for her trip:
Tell her the rules of going on a field trip....Check
Have her complete her homework early so she can turn it in on Friday....Check
Pack her Lunch for her field trip (with a message from Mommy)....Check
Pick out the Clothes she will wear for tomorrows' trip...Check
Make sure to give her lots of kisses before trip...Double/Triple Check
Get Daddy prepared to take her to School first thing in the morning...Will make sure tomorrow morning, or else Daddy will get tickled by Mommy. =) LOL
And that's it right now. =)
I'm sad I won't be able to attend this field trip, but I know she'll have plenty more. I can't wait to hear how her day went at the Pumpkin Patch when I get home from my appointments.
Have fun baby girl...Mommy will be thinking about you tomorrow! I love you!!!

The Dream is becoming a REALITY
Ever since 2004 when I re-enlisted in the Navy, I made my mind up I would do my 2nd enlistment and that would be it. The Navy has given me everything I wanted and more. The time has come that I need to move on and grow more. I need to focus on College now. I joined the Navy for 3 reasons: 1. I wanted to serve my country 2. I wanted to find away to pay for my own College and the Navy is helping me 3. Travel outside of the United States. Well, those 3 things have happened or about to happen. I'm going to start College Autumn of next year, FULL time. I've traveled outside of the USA. I've served my country proudly. I always knew I wouldn't do the full 20 years, once I had my daughter. My daughter and husband need me at home. The Navy isn't for our family anymore. My husband works shift work and I did work shift work, but now I work either days or eves....but I don't switch on and off so quickly like I did before. The beginning of this year I was diagnosed with migraines...so my neurologist suggested the Shift work could be causing it. Since I've been taken off of shift work I haven't had a serious Migraine. Thank GOODNESS!! Those Migraines were causing me grief at work and at home. I wasn't myself when I had a migraine. It doesn't help also in the pass year that I've been at my Job, I've had more doctor appointments then I've had in my whole entire life. I'm still going to Physical Therapy, but now twice a week. My leg is still bothering me, but it's getting there. Hopefully, by the beginning of next year I'll be able to do my original PRT requirements for the Navy.
So my Dream is becoming a Reality...tomorrow I go to my Pre-Separation Class to go over what I need to do to Separate. I get to put in for TAP class and Disability Review Class. I'm looking for colleges/universities I want to go to. I'll be able to devote more time to my two businesses next year...My photography and Boutique. Hell Yeah!!! I'll be able to be there for my daughter and be a full time PTA Member at her school. Maybe even run for PTA. =) I'll be able to take her to Ballet/Tap, Cheerleading and Girls Scout without taking time off of work. I'll be there for my husband when he gets home and spend WAY more time with him. Another HELL YEAH!!! No more wearing a uniform, no more mustering, no more high school drama (hopefully...LOL) and further more no more dealing with Detailers, going underway and all the paperwork that the Navy makes us do. I'm really looking forward to being a Civilian again. I know I'll miss the Navy at times. I know I'll miss traveling to countries on a ship and meeting the people I did...but guess what the minute I get out of Active Duty Navy, I'll turn in my Active Duty ID card and get my Dependent ID card. =) I'll still be seen on Navy Bases. =) I'll still be able to do the things I did while on Active Duty...get the same benefits.
I'll still be apart of the Navy World...but not fully. =) So here it is to my NEW life that is coming in the next 9 months...actually it's a NEW beginning to my LIFE...
Active Duty Navy Sailor to College Student...I can't wait!!! Let me not forget / Wife / Mommy.
Hope everyone has a Blessed Week.
XOXO,
FranJessca

Our "Little Lady"
Isn't she adorable? She's our little Papillon Dog. Now we can say we own a Papillon Dog since our last names our "Papillion". She's our new addition and we love her. She came from Pensacola, FL from my brother in law, Chris. We are glad to have her apart of our family now and she is definitely getting spoiled. She also is making Rambo realize that small dogs can beat up on big dogs. =) She is PERFECT!!

Our New Family Member "Lady"
Just a quick post to announce our new addition to the "Papillion Family" which happens to be a little "Papillon dog" named "Lady"...she is sweet as can be, but mean when it comes to our Cane Corso Puppy, Rambo. She doesn't like Rambo so far. I'll post a picture of her once she is given a bath and I'm home from work. I can't wait to spoil her. She is absolutely "ADORABLE". =)
She's going to be my little lap dog and my other road trip buddy.
