Alright, she kind of looks mean, but really she isn't. She is the sweetest cat you will ever meet. She's really big and looks scary at first. This photo was taken with the Nikkor 70-200mm AF-S lens which I caught her off guard. I guess I disturbed her from her beauty sleep. She loves laying on my stomach when I'm trying to edit photos on my laptop. She was given to me by my bestfriend who could no longer take care of her. I took her in when I still had my Classic Tabby Cat, Caramel Swirl. They never got along. The first night, I heard her growl I couldn't stop laughing. She sounded like a pig with the growl she was doing. It was too funny and way too cute. After I had to get rid of my Caramel Swirl, I knew she didn't mind not being the only cat. She's the only cat that will let my almost 4 year old pick her up and do anything to her. Delilah doesn't scratch and doesn't bite. She'll paw you instead if she is made. She never wants to harm. I decided last month, I felt lonely without another cat and that is when I got Midnight Tigris, who is another friendly cat. Delilah took awhile to warm up to her, but after awhile, now they are best buds. They'll play with each other and won't hiss at each other like Caramel and Delilah used to do on a regular basis. I guess my Caramel Swirl didn't like other cats and didn't like sharing his Mommy.
I'm glad I decided to keep Delilah, she has been a GREAT cat. She doesn't even mind traveling in the truck. She laid in my lap while I was driving.
Look forward to even more photos of Delilah real soon. She tends to be my model for photos whenever I try out new lenses. Plus, I'm going to have to snap a few photos on her reaction to our new addition to the family in a couple of weeks. "Lady" a beautiful Papillon puppy.
Hopefully, they'll get along.
